Introduction

You’re invited to participate in the two-day hands-on workshop “Data Science at the Command Line” on June 12-13 in Eindhoven. This workshop is not only aimed at data scientists, as the title implies, but also at software engineers, researchers, system administrators, and basically everyone who uses data in their daily work.

In two days you’ll learn from Jeroen Janssens (author of Data Science at the Command Line) how to leverage the Unix/Linux command line to process and visualise large amounts of data, automate and distribute many computational tasks, and apply various machine learning algorithms. No prior knowledge is required and it doesn’t matter whether you’re running Windows, macOS, or Linux.
